The conference fee ($279) includes two nights at the Marriott Pinnacle Hotel in downtown Vancouver, registration. delegate handbooks, conference materials and a social event during one of the evenings. This price is partly a function of the proximity of our conference to the 2010 Winter Olympics.

Chaperones are required for VMUN, as their presence will not only verify to us that your participation in the conference has been sanctioned, but they themselves will also be able to assist our staff in maintaining efficient operations. They also need to stay at the hotel, but only have to pay a rooming fee. Theremore, the more delegates that a school brings to VMUN, the less each delegate has to contribute towards their chaperone's fee.

For schools hoping to bring a large delegation, there is no maximum limit to the number of delegates.   

The dress code for the committee sessions at VMUN is Western business attire. This includes a jacket and tie for gentlemen and a smart suit or dress for ladies. Running shoes, jeans etc. are not acceptable during committee sessions.
